JT is a Guitar and Worship Leadership Instructor with Abiding Worship, teaching guitar and helping students grow as musicians and worship leaders. His teaching combines strong musical foundations with encouragement, creativity, and intentional discipleship.

JT became a believer at age sixteen and matured in his faith during college. His story is marked by God’s faithfulness and by learning to depend on God’s wisdom rather than his own. He currently serves through worship ministry, youth ministry, small group leadership, and missions.

JT wants students to mature both in musical ability and in the way they approach worship through music. He believes musical performance can be a valuable offering to God when it is done with humility, excellence, and a heart oriented toward worship and service rather than self-display.

His teaching style is student-focused and shaped around each student’s goals. He creates a supportive and intentional environment where students are encouraged to develop strong technique, musical understanding, creativity, confidence, and personal expression.

JT is a licensed middle school math and music teacher with a Master’s Degree in Education. He brings classroom teaching experience, worship leadership experience, and years of training young worship leaders in band settings.
